Mark Cicka, the head of the state's Medicaid fraud unit, says their system is already advanced, and with more funding, they could detect fraud faster.

The Medicaid fraud unit is responsible for sending cases to the Attorney General's office for prosecution. In two years, the unit's fraud detection has increased from about 10 to 83 cases.
