RunTime:  0:38
OutCue:  SOC

Wrap: St. Louis resident Craig Mershon claims Ameren is harassing him.

He says the company continues to send disconnect notices even though he is not in immediate danger of having his utilities shut off.

Sarah Giboney is an attorney representing Ameren and says Mershon is failing to realize that he is still receiving services despite unpaid bills.

Actuality:  GIBONEY2.WAV
Run Time:  00:11
Description: "We are obligated to collect for the services we provide. One thing Mr. Mershon has not acknowledged necessarily is he is receiving utility services and he is receiving a bill and the bill is not being paid in full."

The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved of Ameren's notices.
