Wrap: That's correct Angie - Only 2 senators were present, but it only took 2 to officially put a stake in the heart of China-hub legislation.
Throughout the special session the Missouri House and Senate disagreed on tax credits for a potential China hub in St. Louis.
Governor Nixon put this major economic development in his call for a Special Session.
Republican Senate President Pro-Tem Rob Mayer, and Republican Majority Floor Leader Tom Dempsey put an end to the China hub legislation in less than a minute.
Dempsey said lawmakers are disappointed with the outcome of the special session and he hopes that they can learn from their mistakes.
In response to the Senate's action Republican Speaker of the House Steven Tilley said he didn't see the point in continuing the special session.
He added that after today, the special session was essentially over and they would the next step was to focus on the regular session in January.
