Some Health Departments are not worried about flu vaccines

St. Louis County Department of Health Spokesperson John Shelton says it's department has not seen any sign of a possible seasonal flu vaccine deficit.

Description: "Yeah, in St. Louis County we have not heard or have had any shortages reported of seasonal flu vaccine, and we just started the traditional seasonal flu reporting season the first week of October. So we're urging people to get a season flu shot."

Kansas City did run out of adult seasonal flu vaccines.

But Kansas City Department of Health spokesperson Jeff Hershberger says he is not worried about the temporary shortage because they are expecting a new shipment of vaccines to arrive shortly.
