With a vote of 117 yes and 42 no, the Missouri House passed a rather expensive bill on to the Senate.
Democrat Michael Corcoran from St. Louis debated with fellow Representative, Republican Allen Icet about the odds of increasing the $12 million allotted for the city's metro.

Some complaints on the House floor Monday were that the stimulus bill was nothing more than "pork", or funding based on political reasons rather than for the good of the state.
Chris Kelly from Columbia says calling this bill "pork" like fellow Representative and Democrat J C Kuessner did is absolutely ridiculous.

Kuessner must not have been convinced since he still voted "no" on the stimulus bill.
