* HJR 70 Sponsor:Davidson, Bishop Status: H 3rd Read: Dropped Description: Toughen the requirement for passage of a constitutional amendment or statutory change placed on the ballot by an initiative approval. Require a majority of registered voters to have voted on the issue. Currently only a majority of those voting on the amendment is required. The proposed ballot description describes the measure as limited to constitutional amendments. However, the actual amendment covers "any measure arising from an initiative." Dropped because there was no action for ten days while it was on the H 3rd Read calendar.
