2013 Bill(s)

* SS HB 34
Sponsor: Guernsey, Casey
Status: BECAME LAW
Description: Require that prevailing wage rates in some rural counties be based on both union and non-union wages for the same type of job. The prevailing wage rate law sets a minimum salary that must be paid to workers for a company doing work under a government contract. The original bill would have let a school district exempt itself from the prevailing wage law. Became law because the governor took no action on the bill, neither signing or vetoing it.
See:

  • Note: The descriptions of bills, amendments and roll-call votes are written by MDN journalists. MDN's database may not include committee assignments of bills made on the last day of the session since it is too late for the committee to act on the bill and, thus, the delayed assignment has no practical effect.
