Wrap: Five states joined Attorney General Chris Koster's lawsuit against California's provision to a Congressional farm bill.

The provision, which would go into effect in 2015, would require better treatment of chickens by any egg suppliers of California. 

In order to comply, farmers would have to expand their hen houses, which would cost Missouri about 120 billion dollars combined.

Koster filed a lawsuit on the bill saying it was unconstitutional due to interstate commerce back in the beginning of February.

Now, Iowa, Nebraska, Alabama, Oklahoma and Kentucky have joined Koster in challenging the provision.
