MODOT selects contractor for Route 364 extension in St. Charles County

One firm designed it and several will build it, but the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has approved a group to finish the Page Avenue extension in St. Charles County.

Wrap: Page Constructors will build a $120 million, nine mile extension of Route 364 from Mid-Rivers Mall Drive and Route 94 to a new clover-leaf interchange at I-64 in St. Charles County.

Phase 3 of the Page extension is an example of design-build, where design firms and enginering firms work together initially to pitch complete proposals to MODOT.

And Transportation Commissioner Stephen Miller says he was pleased the state attracts top-notch contractors for these kinds of projects.
