While legislators continue stalling on the tax breaks for a China air cargo transport hub in St. Louis, Missouri's governor is preparing for a trip to China on Friday for trade negotations.

Missouri's governor Jay Nixon will spend a week in China as part of a business trade mission, and he's not alone.

House Representative Jason Kander is joining the trade mission.

Kander acknowledges that the China Hub bill could have been a valuable tool to be discussed with the Chinese, but...

Kander says the trade mission is still able to promote Missouri exports with the existing tools and facilities in today's global market.

The costs of the trip will be covered by a private, non-profit organization.
