His comments came after the Missouri House passed a measure to allow guns on college campuses.
Meanwhile, supporters say allowing handguns in Missouri's universities will prevent more tragedies.

A four bullet survivor of the 2007 Virginia Tech tragedy says guns need to stay outlawed on Missouri's campuses.
23 year old Colin Goddard spoke at a news conference Wednesday.
Goddard says he didn't know what was happening until he felt a bullet in his knee and that students with guns would not have saved lives.
