The Missouri House heard a bill that would remove a cap, or limit, to the amount of money the government is allowed to give to businesses around Missouri.

St. Louis County's Economic Council VP, David Leezer, says removing the cap would create peace around the state.

Actuality:  LEEZER.WAV
Run Time: 00:11
Description: "If we remove this cap, one of the competitions we remove is competition between ourselves. We should not have St. Louis County competing against Jackson County competing against Greene County for money from the state. This is something that's good for everyone."

There were no witnesses who opposed the bill and one witness said it would be prolific and efficient to remove the cap.
