Missouri voters should be prepared for a long wait in the polls this year.

According to the Secretary of State's office there are 4.2 million registered voters which could make voting lines very long this year.

St. Louis County Director of Elections Joseph Donahue said if voters do their homework before coming to the polls it could expedite the wait.
