Republican Senator Kevin Engler, the newly elected Senate Majority Leader, said he is an ideal leader because he will work well with Democrats.  Senator Engler also attributed his win to the fact he does not want to pursue a higher state office, and has no plans to run for Congress. Engler said the hardest part of being the Majority leader will be working with 23 Republican senators who range from moderate to ultra right wing. Engler is the third district senator from Farmington, Missouri. Reporting from the State Capitol, I'm Abigail Grimmett.
