Intro: State legislators challenge societal views toward the mentally handicapped during a rally at the state Capitol. Kevin Gehl (GAIL) attended the rally.

Activists attending the rally at the state Capitol witnessed state legislators speak out in favor of improving mental health care.

Representative Jeff Harris said that the public's stigma towards the mentally handicapped must be stopped.

The Democrat from Columbia said that Medicaid cuts damage opportunities to improve mental health care.
