Mueller says that state officials should be out of office before a building can be named in their honor.
Legislators all ready in office have had buildings named in their honor. However, the public perceives it as unethical, Mueller says. Mueller suggests that banning the naming of state buildings for state officials in office provides the solution to the inherent ethical problem.
