St Louis Senator Sponsors Bill Similar to One She Helped Defeat Last Year

St Louis County Senator Betty Sims sponsors a measure to ban partial birth abortion after she voted against a simliar measure last year.

Missy Shelton has more from Jefferson City.

Senator Betty Sims from St Louis County was the only republican to vote in support of the governor's veto striking down a partial birth abortion ban, even though she initally supported the ban.

And now, Senator Sims is sponsoring a bill almost identical to the one she helped kill when she did not vote to override the veto.

How does Senator Sims explain a seeming change of heart?
