Mark Richardson is still house minority floor leader

As of last night, Mark Ricahrdson arrested Friday night for driving under the influence, was still Republican floor leader in the Missouri House.

After an hour and a half of deliberations behind closed doors, the republican caucus emerged to say that Mark Richardson is still the Republican floor leader and that the caucus will reconvine at 9:15 this morning.

Richardson was arrested outside Jefferson city for driving under the influence of alcohol.

He also faces charges of child endangerment as his 4 year old daughter was in the car when the breathalizer test read 0.11.

The legal limit in Missouri is 0.10.

When he left the meeting, Mark Richardson had only this to say:

Unless there is an party election, Assistant minority floor leader Don Logrosso is next in line for the job if Richardson steps down. He had no comment.
