Members of the Missouri Election Committee including Representative Stanley Cox say that by having more locations and extended time early voting will increase voter fraud.
Supporters argue the current limits easily are evaded by special interests. The House sponsor -- Rep. Stanley Cox, R-Sedalia -- called the current system a "money laundering operation."
The sponsor of the resolution, Rep. Stanley Cox, R-Sedalia, cited a belief that the nominating system should be more open to the public. Cox also said the process is currently dominated by lawyers rather than the will of the people, which he said makes for an activist judiciary.
Representative Stanley Cox sponsored this bill that establishes that the business owners has no absolute duty to implement security measures for the protection of its customers.
