The sponsor of the legislation, Rep. Don Koller, D-Summersville, said the proposal, along with the Gov. Bob Holden's "One Missouri" transportation plan, gives voters the chance to improve the state roads. Including toll roads is just one more option, he said.
The House Transportation Committee will be writing a substitute bill this week which will combine the best of all the bills, Holden's plan and ideas from the general public, said committee chairman Rep. Don Koller, D-Summersville.
A leading House Democrat, Rep. Don Koller of Summersville, agreed with Greisheimer. Koller, the chairman of the House Transportation Committee, said the bill was not likely to pass the Senate.
