1995 Bill(s)
HB 118 Sponsor:Hosmer, Craig Status: GOVERNOR SIGNED Description: Limit how much of a city's budget can be financed by traffic fines to 45 percent. Excess revenues are distributed to local schools in the city's county. The original bill lowers the minmum population of a town that can suspend a driving license for not paying a traffic fine. Now, big towns only can suspend license if fine not paid.

Note: The descriptions of bills, amendments and roll-call votes are written by MDN journalists. MDN's database may not include committee assignments of bills made on the last day of the session since it is too late for the committee to act on the bill and, thus, the delayed assignment has no practical effect.
