* SB 124 Sponsor:Schupp, Jill Status: S Rules Description: Require some tax-exempt non-profit organizations -- 501(c)(4) organizations -- to disclose their donors under the law requiring disclosure of campaign contributions. 501(c)(4) organizations are those that can spend some, but not all of their money, on politics. Karl Rove's Crossroads GPS is a 501(c)(4). Missouri's attorney general has called for requiring disclosure of contributors if a 501(c)(4) makes a contribution to a Missouri candidate.

It actually would raise the limit to 138 percent because another state law provides that the first five percent of income not be counted in determining eligibility.
