SCS SB 593 Sponsor:Sater, David Status: VETO OVERRIDDEN Description: Let towns with 1,000 or fewer inhabitants cancel an election for a non-partisan elected city office if there are the same or fewer candidates than the number of seats to be filled. Also impose additional notification requirements for a cancelled election. Nixon's veto message indicated the bill would restrict the right for write-in candidates.
