Description:
The HCS includes letting Ameren raise rates to pay the costs of getting a nuclear power plant early permit. The HCS has become an omnibus energy bill providing tax credits, utility rates, what counts as renewable energy and more. The original bill would repeal a law requiring an annual meeting of the Missouri Energy Task Force and annual reports. HA 8 changes the renewable energy measure approved by the voters.
