HCS HB 1139 Sponsor:Cookson, Steve Status: H Rules Description: Let a school district adopt a calendar based on a minmum number of hours of attendance rather than a minimum number of school days. Prohibit summer school extending beyond July with a four-day break for the July 4th holiday. Require a student to attend summer school for a student scoring less than proficient on the statewide assessment test.
