* HB 44 Sponsor:Korman, Bart Status: S Commerce Description: Effectively allow electric utilities to include hydroelectric power to meet a voter-approved law that requires a minimum amount of renewable energy generation by electric utilities. Under current law, only small hydroelectric facilities can be included. The bill would include Ameren's Bagnal Dam and a similar large reservoir in Iowa.
