Missouri House gives final approval to income tax bill, sends it to governor

After the vote, Governor Jay Nixon charged the bill would hurt funding for public schools.

That's the same argument Nixon made last year when he vetoed a similar tax plan.

One Democrat joined the Republicans voting in favor of the bill.

If Republicans stay united, that one Democrat would provide the vote to override the governor's veto.
