Wrap: Documents show Saint-Louis based World Wide Technology donated Ten-Thousand dollars to Nixon's campaign on the same day of his state of the state address where he publicly called for campaign spending limits.

THEN the day after Nixon received a Twenty-Five Thousand Dollar donation from an Ohio corporation.

In response, Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Kurt Schaefer called out the Governor who had recently said that large campaign donations errode the public confidence in elected officials.

The Governor's spokesman was unavailable for comment because he was traveling around the state with the governor.

Wrap: On the same day that Governor Jay Nixon delivered his State of the State calling for campaign spending limits, he received a Ten-Thousand Dollar donation from a Saint-Louis based company.

He THEN received a Twenty-Five Thousand Dollar donation from a Cincinatti corporation on the following day. 

Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Kurt Schaefer says if the governor wants to have a real conversation on campaign spending limits it has to discuss all the realities.

AP reports the Ten-Thousand Dollar donation was meant to pay for inauguration costs.
