Wrap: Democratic Senator Maria Chappelle-Nadal is seeking to repeal anti-illegal immigration measures passed in 2008. But even she says the bill doesn't stand a chance with the legislature's two Republican supermajorities.

Chappelle-Nadal says Republicans should at least consider her proposals in order to gain footing with Hispanic voters.

Republican Senator Gary Romine says he would be opposed to Chappelle-Nadal's bill. But he says it does highlight a problem in the state's immigration laws.
