Kansas City Republican Represenatative Ryan Silvey headed the budget efforts for the House and says things needed to change.

Description: "We just don't really feel that its right that he should be able to raid the admin budgets of every other department to pay for his travel. If he wants to travel it should be open and transparent and in his own budget."

The governor previously did not have funds allocated for travel expenses.

The budget was passed in the Senate and is now on the governor's desk to be signed.
