Missourians vote to ban transfer tax on November 2nd

A Jefferson City Realtor says the possibility of a property transfer tax wil put retired Missourians in a bind. Sherman Fabes has more from Jefferson City.

Co-owner of REMAX Jefferson City, Sharon Keating says if Missouri had a transfer tax, everyone would be affected, especially the retired.

Keating says Ammendment three would make sure homeowners are protected from an unecessary tax.

The county or state would collect the transfer tax every time the property changes hands.
