INTRO: For more than a week now, proposals to sell some or all of the state's student loan underwriting agency -- MOHELA -- has dominated attention in Missouri's state house.
Before the latest, revised plan was adopted by the MOHELA board and endorsed by the Governor, reporter Hayley Salvo interviewed the MOHELA client services vice president William Shaffner.

HOHELA vice president William Shaffner was interviewed before the board adopted the revised proposal to sell only some of the college student loan notes held by the agency.
Under the plan, those notes would be sold to the highest bidder.
