The Missouri Governor's office is refusing to release a report this week on dam safety regulations.

The governor's office was promised a set of new dam safety regulations this week.
The new plan came through, but Missourians won't have access to it until next week.
Spokesperson for the governor, Jessica Robinson, says that the new rules are waiting for Blunt's further recommendations.
"The Governor will take a look at that report and then make recommendations based on that, whether that be increased regulation, whether that be even decreased regulation depending on how our state compares to other states and what other states do to regulate and ensure the safety of their citizens ."
The request for new regulations comes as a result of the collapse of the Taum Sauk dam in southeast Missouri in mid December.
