Missouri senators consider ways around stolen license plate tabs. Josh Hinkle reports from the state Capitol.
The bill would allow the replacement of up to two sets of two license plate tabs when stolen.
The bill's sponsor, St. Louis Rep. Amber Boykins, says the move would help Missouri motorists fight an increasing threat.
The will would also prohibit law enforcement from issuing a citation for a missing license tab if a vehicle registration check reveals the vehicle is properly registered.

The bills's sponsor, St. Louis Rep. Amber Boykins, says it's a measure to keep thieves from taking advantage of motorists.
