Missouri education is losing money to online gambling.

Missouri lottery games are threatened by casinos found in player's homes.

Jade Mingus tells us why online gambling is taking money from the hands of educators.

Missouri schools will lose fifteen million dollars this year due to the Missouri lottery's low sales.

One cause of the low sales is the popularity of online gambling.

Missouri Attorney General spokesperson Jim Gardner says his office is concerned about online gambling from a consumer standpoint.

"The reason it is highly regulated is to assure the integrity of the industry for those who participate."

Gardner also says there are no consumer protections in place for online gaming.

Missouri Gaming Commission spokesperson Harold Bailey says there is no way to know how much of an impact online gambling has on the state of Missouri.
