The day after pro-choice activists gathered to lobby at the capital, hearings were held on a decidedly pro-life bill.
Rachel Schaff has the details.
Majority Floor Leader, Representative Jason Crowell, is sponsoring a bill that prohibits the use of public funds to support health and social services programs that subsidize abortions.
Crowell says no programs or organizations will be affected if the legislation passes because Missouri eliminated all family planning funding.
This bill is identical to another bill considered last year that passed in the house but not in the senate.
