Missouri residents may have to choose between a tax increase and better roads. Princess Reyes has this story from Jefferson City:
Henry Hungerbeeler, the director of the Missouri Department of Transportation, says they need more money to fund road improvement plans. The bill? About one billion dollars per year.
Hungerbeeler says they want a comprehensive transportation system for Missouri.
If Missouri legislators pass this proposal, voters will have decide to accept any tax increase.
