"Show me the money" is what taxpayers might be saying if the Senate continues to stall on a bill that would reduce the sales tax on groceries.
Rod Petersen has the story from the State Capitol.
State Senators Jet Banks and Jim Mathewson vow that the Senate will vote on a House passed bill that would refund money to Missourians.
Matthewson says it is unacceptable for the Senate not to vote on the bill.
The refunds which reduce the grocery sales tax Missourians pay varies between one, two, and three percent.
Fierce opposition continues among Republicans and Democrats as to the amount of the tax reduction.
Reporting from the State Capitol, I'm Rod Petersen.
