Missouri's Freshman Lawmakers in Bootcamp.

Missouri's freshman lawmakers are going to school to learn how to be legislators. Tracy Sadeghian has the story from Jefferson City.

Twenty seven new legislators are getting prepped for the upcoming session by touring state facilities and rubbing elbows with department heads.

Newly-elected St. Charles County Representative..Republican Jon Dolan says he's eager to learn about the legislative process...

Contents: "One of the interesting things is that we actually learn all about the legislation, how it's processed. From what I understand, in the past they didn't do that. With the term limits they're quite excited about getting us going right away."

Dolan and his fellow freshman are taking classes on things like proper legislative procedures.
