Description: Abolish teacher tenure that protects public school teachers from being fired. Repeal a provision for minimum teacher salaries. SS as amended removes the tenure repeal provision. Instead, it extends the number of years required to work as a teacher before automatically getting job-protection tenure from five to ten years.
