Description: Impose an August 2024 expiration of various fees, bonds or assessments Established under various statutes for the Natural Resources Dept. involving hazardous waste. The House version restricts state regulation of coal fly ash waste locations. Under current law, only the department's authority to revise the fees expires in 2024. The House added unrelated amendments to give landowners right to use rainwater systems and creating a radioactive waste investigation fund.
