Description: Exempt from the local sales tax required for titling a car that is at least 10 years old at the time of titling. The House amended HCS became an omnibus bill on business tax breaks, tax credits, local government provisions more. Legislative staff estimate the bill could cost state government more than $15 million per year. In his veto letter, the governor wrote this was one of several bills providing special interest tax breaks that would cost state and local government $776 million per year.
