Description: Let a public or private higher education institution designate faculty and staff as campus protection officers who can carry concealed weapons, upon training. The perfected version would ban a public college/university from having a policy banning employees from carrying concealed weapons on campus. It also would authorize dual-credit scholarships for high school students taking community college courses in science, technology, engineering or math.
