This is similar to SB 65 in 2009 that was approved by the Senate, but killed by the House speaker who did not refer it to committee in time for a hearing.

    Description: Allow an extension of a Bright Flight Scholarship program eligibility for a person who left school to go into military service. Restrict the current 27-month extension for others to those who provide service to a nonprofit organization or government agency. The HCS eliminates the extra benefit provided to students in private schools from the college scholarship program Access Missouri.
