Wrap: Those in favor outnumbered those opposed to a bill that would allow terminally ill patients to use medical marijuana. 

A committee heard testimony on the bill Tuesday. 

Democratic Rep. Peter Merideth – who represents parts of St. Louis City – says this bill is something his constituents want.

But he wishes the bill would do more.

Numerous veterans also testified in support of the bill. 

A similar proposal passed a Missouri House committee last year.
