Wrap: Senator Jamilah Nasheed said Stan Kroenke should not be rewarded for disrespecting the state when he moved the Rams out of St. Louis.

In a resolution urging the Maryland Heights City Council to deny taxpayer money to a Kroenke's business partner, Nasheed points out the harm done from moving the team to Los Angeles.  

Kroenke's partner is looking to build a new development in Maryland Heights.

Chair of Senate Economic Development Eric Schmitt said as a lawmaker he has to look at all parts of the situation when dealing with economic issues involving taxpayer money.

Wrap: A developer looking to build a new multi-faceted development in Maryland Heights may have hit a bit of a roadbump.

The business' connection to the Los Angeles Rams owner has brought on criticism from St. Louis Democrat, Senator Jamilah Nasheed.

Nasheed urged the Maryland Heights City Council to deny the developer aid from taxpayer money because of the harm relocating the team had.

Chair of Senate Economic Development Eric Schmitt said it is important in situations like these to think what is in the peoples' best interest.

Nasheed said did not want to bring the issue up in a bill because it is up to that town to decide what they want to do on their own.
