Wrap: Lt. Col. Tom Crosson Defense Press Officer at OSD Public Affairs says all civilian employees in the National Guard will receive back pay for the pay periods ending on Oct. 5 and Oct. 19. on the next regular payday.
Traditional National Guardsmen will not receive pay, but Crosson says it wouldn't be unusual for these employees to make up the drills they missed and in turn make up the missed pay.
Crosson says employees are required to pay back any state unemployment benefits received during the shutdown.
