This is the sound of water flooding the streets of Jefferson City after a mainline break in a water pump early this morning.

The Missouri-American Water Company shut off all water lines to repair the broken pipe, leaving the city without water.

Missouri-American employee Gilbert Cole says the water will not be back on until at least this afternoon.
