Wrap: At issue, Tuesday morning, was the decision to give an agency, the Missouri Healthcare Insurance Pool, 21 million dollars in a grant to install the "Obamacare" health package in Missouri without the Senate even knowing.
Senator Jim Lembke of St. Louis was stunned to hear that there was any motion toward a vote on passing a healthcare plan today. Lembke says there was a clear attempt to go over the heads of state senators.

Description: "It certaintly looks to me like this is an in run around the legislative process." |
Lembke rushed over to the Missouri Healthcare Insurance Pool meeting along side senators Jane Cunningham of St. Louis and Rob Schaaf of St. Joseph, to stop a vote from taking place.
Despite the fact that no vote took place Tuesday afternoon, Lembke says this is not over and the senators will have to keep a close eye on the healthcare board.
