Wrap: Governor Jay Nixon compromised with filibustering senators allowing benefits to reach Missouri's unemployed workers for an additional 20 weeks.

Nixon says the benefits should reach the ten thousand unemployed workers by Friday.

Senate Minority leader Victor Callahan says the extended benefits will help more than just families.

Actuality:  CALLAHAN.WAV
Run Time:  00:07
Description: "It was also a bill for Missouri business because those families spend money in the business community and help Missouri's economy."

In return, the senators asked the governor to send back 250 million dollars in federal aid the senators said was unneccessary in such dire economic times.
